The New York Giants’ struggles over the past two seasons do not seem to be impacting interest around the league in the team’s assistant general manager, Brandon Brown.

The Las Vegas Raiders have requested permission to speak with Brown about their vacant general manager job. The Raiders fired both GM Tom Telesco and head coach Antonio Pierce at the end of the 2024 season.

This is the first interview request for Brown, 36, in this hiring cycle. Last offseason he interviewed twice for the GM openings with the Carolina Panthers and Los Angeles Chargers.

Giants GM Joe Schoen hired Brown away from the Philadelphia Eagles to be his assistant GM in 2022. Prior to joining the Giants, Brown spent five seasons with the Philadelphia Eagles. He was director of pro scouting for two seasons with the Eagles, ad director of player personnel for one year.

The Giants recently lost Ryan Cowden, senior advisor to Schoen, to the New England Patriots.
