Three Keys
1) Make better adjustments – On Sunday, it seemed like the Lions were running many of the same things over and over and continued to succeed. Brian Flores will have to make better adjustments against this Rams team if the same thing begins to happen. The Rams might be 2-4, but Matthew Stafford is a capable quarterback who can make some real noise if the Vikings can’t get after him.
2) Continue to be balanced – The Vikings got some nice things out of their run game against Detroit, and they’ll have to keep that balance tonight to keep the Rams off-balance. Aaron Jones still might not be 100 percent, but he showed on Sunday that his hamstring is still doing fine. Here’s hoping he can continue to be the difference-maker he’s been thus far for the offense.
3) Short memories – Sunday’s game was a kick in the gut for this team, and it’s probably a good thing that they haven’t had time to sit around and think about it too much before preparing for this game. This should be a game that the Vikings can handle on paper, but we all know that the games aren’t actually played on paper. If this team plays up to their capabilities, we should be looking at a bounce back.
