In Week 19’s ‘Reacts’ poll, Chiefs’ fans want to see Steven Nelson play

Chiefs’ fan confidence

It looks like Kansas City fans weren’t bothered by the 38-0 blowout the Denver Broncos’ starters visited upon the Chiefs’ second and third-string players; the percentage of fans expressing confidence in the team was almost the same.

Steven Nelson

Nearly three in four Kansas City fans would like to see Nelson — who spent his first four NFL seasons with the Chiefs before spending the next five years with three other NFL teams — be moved up from the practice squad to get some postseason playing time.

D.J. Humphries

Nearly two out of three Kansas City fans would like to see what the veteran left tackle can do in the postseason, allowing All-Pro left guard Joe Thuney to return to his best position.

Wild Card Weekend games

If the AFC’s Wild Card games on Saturday and Sunday go like NFL fans expect they will, the Chiefs will host the Los Angeles Chargers in the Divisional round. That’s close to what we consider to be the most likely outcome — and in complete agreement with our previous polling of Kansas City fans.
