The New York Giants (2-3) host the Cincinnati Bengals (1-4) at MetLife Stadium on Sunday Night Football in a game between two franchises who are trying to find their way into contention.

The Giants are buoyed by their 2024 draft class, which could be the best in the NFL this season. The Bengals just might be the most potent 1-4 team the league has seen in years.

Fantasy Football enthusiasts will be all over this game because of its star quality as well as it is a standalone entity on daily fantasy football sites.

Here are five fantasy options for your consideration in this game.

Giants QB Daniel Jones

The Bengals are allowing 34.4 points per game over their last three and are the perfect foil for Daniel Jones to finally put up some big numbers. He has been fairly stationary so far this season, staying in the pocket and playing very conservatively.

Last week against Seattle on the road, Jones passed for 257 yards and two touchdowns with no interceptions for a season-high 109.6 rating and also rushed 11 times in the game for another 38 yards.

The Bengals are allowing the fifth-most fantasy points to quarterbacks this season and are next to last in sacks per game.

Giants defense/special teams

The Giants have been a “bend-but-don’t-break” defense this season for the most part but that has been largely due to their young secondary getting acclimated to one another and first-year coordinator Shane Bowen’s system.

The defense is getting healthy and starting to gel. They have only allowed one 100-yard rusher (Washington’s Brian Robinson Jr.) this season and no receiver has had over 100 receiving yards in a game.

They lead the league in sacks (22) and are in the top 7 in yards and points allowed per game the past three weeks.

The special teams, also under a new coordinator this year (Michael Ghobrial), are beginning to make statement plays as displayed last week when they returned a blocked field goal for a touchdown.

Giants WR Malik Nabers

At press time, Malik Nabers is still in the concussion protocol — but if he clears this week, he’s a no-brainer.

Nabers missed last week’s games but remains third in FPS per game among NFL wide receivers this season. He is second in the NFL in pass targets and will add to both categories this week if he plays against a struggling Cincinnati defense.

Giants RB Tyrone Tracy Jr.

If Devin Singletary (groin) is out again or limited this week, Tyrone Tracy Jr. once again becomes an attractive play.

Last week in Seattle, he averaged 7.2 yards per carry on 18 attempts (129 yards) in a breakout performance that has to have the Giants rethinking their offensive depth chart.

The Bengals have had difficulty stopping the run this season, allowing 151.4 yards per game to opponents (30th).

Bengals WR Ja’Marr Chase

Ja’Marr Chase held out for a big payday this summer and he has been worth every penny. He leads all NFL wide receivers in FPS and is averaging 17.0 yards per reception.

Last week against Baltimore, Chase had 12 receptions for 192 yards and two touchdowns, the most receiving yards by any player in an NFL game this season.

The Giants will likely counter with cornerback Deonte Banks, who has been competitive but has also allowed six touchdowns this season.
