Some notes

  • Wide receiver JuJu Smith-Schuster (hamstring) did not practice all week and is officially out for the third straight game. Defensive tackle Turk Wharton (knee) — who practiced Friday after missing the first two days of the week — is questionable. Everybody else is considered good to go.
  • Running back Kareem Hunt (quad) and defensive end George Karlaftis (abdomen) were upgraded to full participants after beginning the week limited. Hunt has been listed on the report referencing his “quad” for two straight weeks.
  • Wide receiver Mecole Hardman (shoulder/knee) was upgraded to a full practice participant on Friday. He had been limited for two days after missing some time in Monday night’s game.
  • Quarterback Patrick Mahomes (ankle) was once again listed on the report due to his ankle injury, but it’s a good sign that he was listed as a full participant all week. Both Mahomes and head coach Andy Reid spoke about his ankle injury during their Wednesday podium sessions, and we covered what they said here.
  • Defensive end Mike Danna (pectoral) has missed the team’s last three games due to his pec strain but is set to make his return on Sunday. Cornerback Nazeeh Johnson (concussion) is also good to return after a one-game absence.
  • Defensive tackle Derrick Nnadi (triceps) has been listed on the injury report since the start of the season.
  • Denver listed seven players on their report. There was one limited participant: linebacker Drew Sanders (Achilles). Center Luke Wattenberg (ankle) was upgraded to full practice participation on Thursday. Both players are currently on the Broncos’ Reserve/Injured list, practicing this week during their 21-day window to return. Sanders has been listed as out for Sunday’s game, while Wattenburg is questionable.
  • Despite being listed as a full participant on Friday, special teams player Delarrin Turner-Yell (knee) is also listed as out.
