The Arizona Cardinals and the Detroit Lions played to a 3-0 game in the second half.

Unfortunately the Cardinals trailed 20-10 at the half and the Arizona Cardinals fell to the Detroit Lions 20-13.

The Cardinals have played well this season, and the positive takeaway from this game is that the Cardinals defense gave up zero points in the second half, but the Lions defense was the dominant force today.

The Cardinals were held in check on the ground, and when you can keep the Cardinals from running the football consistently, then you know those play action passes don’t matter. Meaning the back seven can just be patient and wait for the pass to come.

This game was a great look at where the Cardinals need to get to in order to be at that upper echelon, but the performance by the defense, especially in the second half was impressive.

The Cardinals run game and play action pass game was neutralized today, and that leads to another loss against one of the big boys in the NFL.

Now, to get ready for the Washington Commanders.
